DESCRIPTION:The Highland County Chamber of Commerce\, in partnership with the Southern Ohio Chamber Alliance (SOCA)\, will be hosting a Lunch & Learn on Wednesday\, October 12.\n\n \n\nThis event will focus on explaining five of the member benefits available to our membership through our relationship with SOCA. We will have speakers from:\n\n \n\n\n	Health Insurance: Cincinnati Benefit Solutions - Scott Marston\n	The SOCA Benefit Plan is a self-funded solution for small employers and sole proprietors. The SOCA Benefit Plan is a multiple employer welfare arrangement (MEWA) that lets eligible businesses join together to share in the overall claims risk. By being part of a large\, self-funded pool\, they receive financial protection backed by Anthem's stop loss coverage.\n	Workers' Compensation: Hunter Consulting - James Baker\n	Workers' Compensation issues can be complex no matter what size business or organization you have. Our partnership with Hunter Consulting provides you with a resource to answer questions regarding group rating plans (to lower your premiums) and specific issues you may have. \n	Human Resources: Strategic HR   Melissa Dern\n	Strategic HR can partner with you to develop\, strengthen\, augment\, or manage your human resources function. You can have the benefits of having experienced HR professionals dedicated to supporting some or all of your company's HR needs\, without adding headcount.\n	Utility Savings: Community Energy Advisors   Rick Davidson and Kathy Elseser\n	Community Energy Advisors (CEA)\, is a Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (PUCO) certified energy management firm. CEA works with Chamber members to ensure they are paying the most competitive market rates available on electricity and natural gas.
