Utility Laborer - Summer Help

Hardworking, dependable, and physically fit individuals to join our team for the summer.
In this role, you will perform a variety of general manual labor, assist full-time staff with
routine maintenance, and help ensure our local facilities and grounds remain clean, safe,
and operational.

Key Responsibilities:
 Assist with weeding, mulching, mowing, tree trimming, and general clean-up of
parks, sidewalks, and public spaces.
 Clean, paint, and perform basic repairs on municipal/company buildings, fences,
and park equipment.
 Assist road and maintenance crews by picking up litter, emptying trash and
recycling receptacles, digging trenches, and spreading gravel.
 Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and light equipment after receiving proper
training.
 Assist with washing and servicing work vehicles, and help organize supplies in
the warehouse or yard.
 Follow all safety rules and regulations, and report any potential hazards or needed
repairs to the supervisor.

Qualifications & Requirements
 High School Diploma, GED, or currently enrolled as a high school student
 Must be at least 18 years old.
 Driver's License with a clean driving record.
 Ability to perform heavy manual labor for extended periods. Must be capable of
lifting 70 pounds and working outdoors in varying summer weather conditions.
 Strong ability to follow verbal and written instructions and work cooperatively in
a team environment.
 Must be willing to pass a pre-employment background check and/or drug screen.
