Nursing Assistant (FT)

Highland District Hospital is currently seeking Full-Time Nursing Assistants in our Med/Surg Department. This position is responsible for providing direct patient care under supervision, has knowledge of assigned tasks and equipment necessary to meet the specific needs of the patient population served, performs general care routines to assure patient’s physical and mental comfort, and reports on patient’s condition, activities, and care needed from their shift, among various other duties. The position requires the applicant to have completed a formal nursing assistant program or currently be enrolled as a student nurse.
