McClain Avenue Complex celebrates with ribbon cutting
McClain Avenue Complex, located in Greenfield, celebrated their grand opening with a ribbon cutting from the Highland County Chamber of Commerce, along with students, faculty, and members of the community on October 21, 2024. McClain Avenue Complex is owned and operated by Greenfield Exempted Village School and is located at 750 McClain Avenue in Greenfield, Ohio.
The new multi-purpose facility ribbon cutting included many members of the community along with other businesses to show their support of the newest addition to the Greenfield Exempted Village School. This facility will be home to the transportation and maintenance departments. The new facility allows for much-needed storage space and provides improved field conditions, renovated basketball courts, sidewalks, and parking spaces.
The athletics and band programs will also be supported by this new addition. The old bus garage has undergone some “structural TLC,” superintendent Quincey Gray said, and will be converted to an athletic facility to better serve athletics needs. Following the open house of the facility was a school board meeting. There the school board recognized those who have had a big hand in this project and cut the ribbon to celebrate the new addition.
