Shift Lead

The Leesburg Dairy Barn is seeking a shift lead.  Must be 18 or older and have experience in at least two of these three areas:  customer service, management, and food service.  Training will be provided and pay is dependent on experience.  The position will be part time starting out and may transition to full time in the fall.

Responsibilities:
1. Food Prep: become familiar with preparation of all of our menu items and maintain safety and quality standards
2. Technology: become proficient with Toast, our software/app for in-person & online orders and employee management
3. Health & Safety: become familiar with local and state health & safety protocols to make sure that our facility is 100% compliant
4. Employee management: assist with hiring, training, coaching, delegating responsibilities to, and evaluating employees
5. Customer service: maintain a safe, clean, welcoming environment for all customers, using professional manners and problem-solving to ensure customer satisfaction
6. Financial management: keep accurate records of transactions & manage cash
on hand
7. Support the general manager and owners with operational tasks as assigned, including inventory/food ordering, cleaning, equipment maintenance, etc.

Shift leads must be able to spend an entire shift on their feet and lift up to 50 pounds.
